Mikey C, I find it hard to believe that your Phoenix just started to fall apart, because I have over 300 days on mine with no problems. Sounds like you might of hit something with the tips to cause it to crack or chip. You are lucky you weren't riding a board with a fully wrapped metal edge, because the impact could have easily pushed the edge into the tip ending your boards life. Lib Tech also has a great warrenty department. Send your board in. If it truely just fell apart they will send you a new one. The Phoenix uses the strongest top sheet available. It is to bad that someones edge scratched your art work. If you want more art produced by Jamie Lynn, my advice is that you buy another Phoenix and mount it to your wall, because it will be $1000's less than buying a painting from him. You can also put a sticker over your scratch since it is a snowboard we are talking about here.

I have 300+ days on my Phoenix without any problems. I am very sorry to hear about your boyfriends board chipping at the tip. It sounds like he hit something with the tips causing it to crack. If it was a full metal wrap construction, the edge could have easily dented inward destroying the board. He is lucky to have a girlfriend that is smart enough to buy him a board with fully wrapped metal edges. If the top sheet starts to chip from impact, buy some expoy for $5 and seal it up, because it will only get worse if he continues to ride it, but still better than a metal edge that has been pushed into the core. Lib Tech also has a great warranty department.
I guess I can't feel to bad for your boyfriend if he still loves to ride the board and dosen't care enough to write his own complaint. Buy him some epoxy!

Banana Technology out preforms camber in every snowboarding application! The reverse camber only reverses between your inserts, then flatens out to your tail. It forces your control towards the middle of the board which allows you to initiate your turns from the inside of your body, something you can't do with an arch shaped side cut and camber. You don't need to lean back when you ride this board. Super fun to press out at full speed, great for rails, kills the pipe, makes switch riding easy, and will replace your giant pow stick. Feel confident sizing down up to 3 cm.

I am a HUGE fan of the press-ability of blunted tips. What a great addition to the Choice! I rode the Magne-Traction RC this summer and was instantly a believer. Great on rails, even better on jumps. The sidecut of the future!

I rode a 156 Skate Banana at a late season demo. It rode better than anything that I've been on. Floated the 6 inch pow like nothing else! It got super slushy at the end of the day, and no one could keep up with me. Great on jumps, INSANE in the pipe, and super jiby everywhere you need it. Oh yeah, Magne-Traction kills it too!

I have rode a few different Magne-Traction boards, but hands down the 155 DK Magne is the best. It has a more mellow variation on the first bumps form the tails. It makes it ride soooooo well. If you want to become a better rider buy this board!

I love these stomp pads! Great for 1 footed snowboard mobin' and snowskates. Can't beat the price!

I recently bought this kit and have been getting a ton of use out of it! Early season conditions and rock jibs had taken their toll on my board, but now it looks and rides brand new. The highly Fluorinated wax that comes with it is the fastest wax that I have ever used. I have even been tuning my friends boards for a little extra $$$. I found the core to have a good flex to it. The Kink is super poppy. Very fast base material and, of course, super-kinked tips. This is one of the best boards I've ever been on!

The Youth has a really playful feel, and the slight roll on the tips of the board make it super fun to press and spin. This is the best rail board I've ever been on!

I don't hot wax my board as much as I should, so I always have a puck of Viper paste in my glove box. Rub it on, go faster. It couldn't be any easier!

This is enough wax to tune your board for a very long time. FAST STUFF!!

This board has the best flex I've ever felt!

I love MAGNE-TRACTION. The grip it adds is unprecedented! The TRS is the ideal board for the half pipe, park, rails, backcountry, icy days, powder days....any condition, any time! The TRS also has a very fast hard base that is super low maintenance and is very POPIE!

I road the 157.5 Riders Choice in Magne-Traction at an end of season demo last year. This board is like nothing I've ever been on. The 7 bumps are actually contact points that grip the terrain like a steak knife. I felt added commitment to my spins and super-strong edge hold on the pipe walls. I "detuned" the edges until they were round, and still had extra-strong edge hold riding into rails. Thank you GNU for making my frontside boardslides stezzzzy!

I rode the DIY at Mt. Hood a few weeks ago. I didn't try it until my last day...WHAT A MISTAKE. The DIY is what I should have been riding the whole time. It had some pop off the kickers, but what I really loved was the boards flex-pattern. SUPER JIBBY! I am buying it as soon as I pay off camp!

The Duck Man keeps me warm. I was riding it in Crested Butte when it was -5F at the base of the mountain. It was a lot colder at the top, but I was warm all day long.

This board has more pop than anything I’ve ever been on. It is really fun off jumps and in the pipe (especially with Magna-Traction). I hit some rocks early season and there was no damage to my base.

Smart enough to design the best deck that I've ever been on, and it's a Mag. The board has great pop and flex. The Mag sidecut is great for spinning and provides a VERY STRONG edge hold. You will not be disappointed by the T. Rice which was made in the good ol' USA.

The C.H.B. is an incredible board. I demoed the 159cm a few days ago at Loveland, CO and instantly fell in love. The new sandwich construction makes it more aggressive and adds a little more flex. A great all-mountain board with nice park characteristics.

The 1986 Jamie Lynn Snow Mullet is the best powder board I've ever been on. Its progressive directional sidecut and set back stance makes this a powder board you can size down on. The base is made with a super-hard sintered material that is almost impossible to gash.
