ThirtyTwo Ultralight Snowboard Boot - Women's

August 31, 2009

yes, of course. although not recommended. your feet will HURT, and if you're a beginner, you won't enjoy yourself.
these take a while to break in. as a beginner, maybe look for something softer, flexible. you won't own just one pair of snowboard boots all your life, so go ahead and buy a pair that you'll enjoy right now, not years from now.

Love the look, hate the pants.

Cappel 07/08 Cumberland Pant - Women's

Cappel 07/08 Cumberland Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 1 April 20, 2009

They look sweet, and feel great. Do run big, I'm 5'4" 145lbs and I bought a small. Unfortunately: the 'silk' liner is awful, it sticks to you if you start to sweat at all and doesn't breathe; the vents are near useless, being blocked by this 'silk' liner and thus causing aforementioned sweatiness; snow sticks to the material; they aren't even remotely waterproof. You'll be wet, inside and out, just a heads up. And it's not just me, my friend bought the men's version and she's wet inside and out too. So if you just wanna walk around the village and look cool, these are the pants for you. But if you're looking for a functional piece of equipment, look elsewhere.

My Favourite Pants!

Sessions Evolution Pant - Men's

Sessions Evolution Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 20, 2009

I've actually got three now: black, burgundy, and these chocolate ones were the latest addition. Over the last five years, they've consistently stayed my favourite pants to ride in. Love the fit: baggy and comfortable, with plenty of room to move and/or layer in (they even fit great with impact shorts, for those days when you feel you gotta...). Pockets are great, love the stash pocket on the left leg. My favourite thing about these pants is the venting tho. Inseam AND out, which means on those warm spring days you actually get air moving right through, which works great!

MTX BTX TRS

Lib Technologies TRS MTX Snowboard

Lib Technologies TRS MTX Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 April 6, 2009

got the trs w/ magna and banana, love it, won't go back ever. it took me a bit to get used to the reverse cambre, but it works super well with the magna traction and and is great to ride anywhere on anything. now if only lib tech would make some more universally-appealing graphics: i don't particularly like the smokey-neon-skull shape on mine. don't need rainbows and unicorns, but c'mon guys!

awesome gloves, in every way...

686 Voyage Pipe Glove - Women's

686 Voyage Pipe Glove - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 17, 2009

i wore these 8am-4pm on a serious pow day and my hands stayed totally dry (which meant warm too)!! they work well on park and non-pow days too. i love that they don't make my hands sweat, and instead stay totally dry. the fleecy insides are nice, and the grippy palm is sweet. oh, and they are very pretty!

careful of the sizing tho, my hand is 7.5" and the corresponding glove that came is a bit too big. makes it easy to put on/take off tho!

Only gonna ride 32's from here on in...love the Vela!

ThirtyTwo The Vela Snowboard Boot - Women's

ThirtyTwo The Vela Snowboard Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 November 18, 2008

So yea, when i first bought them they were impossible to put on, super tight fitting. got them heat molded, and while they were still a pain to put on, held my feet super tight and were comfortable. this will be my fourth season in my first pair...and i ride 'bout 100 days a season, and i'm still usin' em. bought a backup pair last year, just in case mine finally died, but they're still goin'. sure, they're not as stiff, but stiff enough, and i've got the option of adding the additional stiffener to the front should i need to. i make sure never to walk on pavement in them (every time your heel hits the ground, it softens your boot), and i guess i take pretty good care of my gear...the toe bit with "32" on it is starting to come off, but nothing a bit of shoe goo won't fix. i'm stoked about the ankle tightening bit on the newer models...can't wait to try that (it's on my backup boots that i haven't used yet)!
