Does anyone know how warm this actually is? I have no intentions of actually skiing in it, but I go to school in Muncie, IN and the weather can be unpredictable and harsh in the winter season. I want to know how this would stand up to a 2-hour marching band rehearsal in a few inches of snow and harsh wind. I really really like this jacket, but I don't want to waste my money on it for the style and freeze to death. Anyone know?

Thanks for the response! I went ahead and bought the coat and although it's not cold out yet, I love it! I can't wait to rock it out and about. (and I play sax by the way, so not too much movement.) : )

Hello I don't know if you are still wondering....but I have this jacket with the previous year design (the Prodigy) one and I think it is quite warm. I am from Vancouver, Canada and last year winter was quite cold...the leather can for sure block the wind....however...U don't move so well in this jacket so depends on what instrument u play...if u play clarinet or something similar that require only finger movement it will be alright...but if u play something that moves the whole body...u will be making leather sound in very quiet times...cuz I wore this jacket to my exams and the whole room can hear me move lol...good luck !!
