this board is a sick beginner board as with any board you need sharp edges to slice thru ice that is key dull edges suck and will cause you to not grip it i am a die hard burton fan ive been rididng for 3 seasons now and thats my fav ive demo'd alot of board and this is a good 1st i actually bought this 1 and was happy
