do the cargo pockets have zippers, or are they flappy, filling with snow in a moderate to heavy endover end ragdoll? Also is the seat of the pants huge like a diaper but?

Yes the pockets have zippers. No the seat is not too bad. It is a well made, well fitting one-piece.
