i would deffintly go with the large too, the medium would be too small. im about 5'8 140, so i can relate to your size.

I would roll Large. Volcom stuff generally runs a bit small. Id also rather be a tiny bit baggy rather than super tight! You need room to move. Go Large. You'll prob regret medium.
