Hood is fixed, but it's an awesome cut, made to fit your head, stay out of the way and provide awesome, non vision-impairing sight while up. Detachable hoods often have terrible shape to them and jackets look bad without them regardless if they're being worn or not. Center back length is 28" (Medium). Also features Burton's jacket fetures package: pit zips micro-fleeced line handwarmer pockets pocket-access hem cinch hood cinch adjustable cuff closures pass pocket articulated sleeves New dryride fabrication DWR finished fabric taped seams goggle pocket waist gator with link zip jacket-to-pant interface pocket key clip
