Write your question here...i have an older pair of foursquare pants size lg, but the sizing chart says i should order a m in the hoffman - 34" w x 30" l in regular pants - should i order l or m?

These Hoffmans run a little big on me. I am your same size bro 34"w x 30"l in jeans (5'9" 170lb)and these were pretty long. They fit correctly in the waist though. If you are not into baggy then I WOULD recommend the M, but if you want to add a little swagger in your step get the L. They're not gonna fall completely off your ass or anything. I'm 6' and I wear large. I would fit a medium thought. i like a little baggy fit. If you do too, go with the large.
