I'm 6'1" and have 12.5 feet, will I get away with a normal size version as I usually find wide boards too wide, and how short should I get?

no u wouldnt get away with a normal because 11.5 is cutting it really close on normal so the best option for u is 156w if u plan on more park and a little mountain or the 159w if u plan on more mountain

I would go with the 156w skate banana based on your boot size.
