I'm about 5"8 150 lbs. 32" waist. I heard Burton Jax run baggy. Given the fit of this jacket should I do a S or M?

im about the same build as you and i got the large. if you wear a lot of layers like i do go large, otherwise medium will work just fine

Medium for sure... Small will not fit your arm length! They don't run that big.
