Is this a good beginner board? My daughter is 5' 6" 110lbs and has snowboarded 1 time on a rental board.

It depends on how much you are willing to invest. for a beginner this is probably okay, but I would go for a different brand... along the lines of roxy, GNU or even DC (be careful with those though)... gnu b-nice would be a good one and as she gets better it will last for a long time and she won't be begging for a new one or roxy eminence would be another good one. or you could also get a board from like 08 or somethin, they're just as good and you can get one for super cheap. i would stick to the brands of GNU, even Burton, or roxy though :)just make sure the board is not too big for her cause it'll be hard to learn board control. the sizing charts online are pretty accurate though
