Here is the sizing breakdown for Volcom socks: Little Boys = US Boys Size 9-12 Boys = US Mens Size 4-10 Mens = US Mens Size 9-12 So in this case, your son's foot size fits into the boys' sock sizing for Volcom. the boys size is better for your son, i guess that the mens size fits better sizes from 9 to 13..
