I've got a size 12 boot and i've been riding a non wide board for a couple years, my boot size might be still growing, im thinking wide, anyone else got any advice?

You definitely need to be on a wide board. Do yourself the favor, you'll much happier. don't let the word "wide" scare you away, it doesn't mean it's slower or heavier, just built in proportion to the rider's foot.
