This is more of a 2-layer technical outerwear shell... It will be very warm as long as you rock a technical layering piece under it (such as a Burton bonded fleece or similar) If you want to just rock a thermal layer underneath go for a Burton jacket with a little more insulation (2nd option under tech specs of jacket)
