I have a question about this watch. I bought an all black nixon banks 2 years ago and because of normal everyday use, the black is like rubbing off in some areas that come in contact with like my clothes and stuff. I was just wondering if the black version of this watch was more resistant to this normal use?

The Black will scratch like a car's clear coat finish so even though the say this watch is very durable it scratches very easily. EX: just from typing and grazing my MacBook Pro's smooth surface.

More than likely you have the regualr Player in all black. I think the ceramic version should survive a good beating and still look like new.

This black is ceramic, and most certainly won't be rubbing off, as it's not an applied finish like most other Nixon stainless watches.
