Light Transmission for the Astro Chrome is 41% and Nightstalker Blue is 58%. I've ridden both lenses a bunch, and the Astro Chrome actually seems darker than 41%. I've used it on Sunny and Cloudy days and it is an amazing all around lens. The Nightstalker is a great low-light/night lens. If the snow is puking and it is cloudy, then the Nightstalker is the way to go.
