is say go for it, just wear an under sweatshirt ^^^ like he said it is better for warmer conditions however

I prob wouldn't run this for early season shredding. It tends to get pretty cold around that time of year, and this is only a water resistant, wind resistant hoodie. This jacket is more suited for spring riding. I'd go for a full on snowboard jacket for what you want to do.
