has anybody ever attatched this directly to the rail or fixture?...

has anybody ever attatched this directly to the rail or fixture? does it snap back and get in your way if its attatched the the rail your hitting?

it doesnt snap back because of the nylon tie down, if you clipped the bungee down directly to your rail, it would get in the way, if you use a rope tied between the bungee and rail, and the handle to the side when you have good speed, youll be fine.

I'd only attach it to whatever you're hitting as a last option. It's doable but definitely not ideal.
