Can these be used as an all-mountain binding? I freestyle here and there but mostly stick to shredding the whole mountain, will these work for that?

They are more of a softer binding. They perform best in the park and off of smaller features on the mountain. IF you want a more 'all mountain' binder, check out the Force's as they are a bit stiffer. Not saying that you cant take the DLX's on the whole mountain, but it might feel a lil loose if you rip at higher speeds. I have last years Contacts and they are listed as 'park/urban', yet I take them all over from steeps to trees to pow. So im pretty sure you can do the same with these bad boys. But if Joe uses them, then you know they are a pretty soft binding. Union makes sick bindings that last through the abuse you will put them through, trust me. But personally I would spend the extra $70 and get the Force's. Hope this helps bro
