I am a rider of Blue runs, don't run hard, mostly carving but looking for more fun. I wear a 12-boot and about 5'-11" and 170. Since I don't ride in the parks--should I purchase the Wide board or the regular?

You need a Wide board regardless of where you are riding. The reason for the wide board is people with a larger foot. You do not want to have your heels and toes hanging off the end of your board. Since you wear a size 12 you should always go with a wide board.
