The est seem darker then the regular malavitas is that true or are the pictures just there to screw with me?
I got the regular ones for Christmas (too bad i got an est board so i am going to return them)and wondering if i should get the blue again or go with the black since the blue is really light,lighter than the pictures shown.

If I remember correctly the color is a bit lighter than the picture provided by Dogfunk. I think your binding is more accurate. Either way, the Malavita is awesome, once you ride it you won't care what color it is.
