I heard that this board chips easy on the top?! but I like the board but have seen nothing but bad reviews. is that true?

Any snowboard is going to chip if you hit it hard enough. From normal riding, the board will hold up for ever. It is a great entry level board, really soft and fun. You will be very please with this board.
