Another question about getting a mini-longboard for a kid. Considering getting this one, or a speed demon duster. Will additional board width and wheel diameter help or hurt. I'm only looking at boards that are 30" or shorter and seem fairly stable. My son is a large 7. Can skate on his cruddy Toys R Us but barely. I learned at his age (in the 70s) on a banana cruiser and it was a blast.
