Does the Vibram sole add stiffness to this shoe?
Ive got the regular Grasshoppers and I like them for everyday chilling, but want the Vibram waxed ones for using on the DH bike. If the sole is not stiffer Ill go 5.10s.

Definitely softer then the original grasshoppers. I had the originals and I liked how stiff they were. These one's I think have the perfect stiffness, and also not being all hemp in the more ware spots I hope it will make them last longer.

The sole isn't stiffer. In fact, I think it's softer. Not stiff enough for pedals. Perfect for chilling or skating.
