25.4 is considered a mid-wide waist width. You can fit up to size 12 boot without trouble. Also considering it is a jib board you can probably worry less about toe drag than if you were buying a carving stick.

the waist width for the 153 is 254mm. so probably a size 10 or less. what really matters is what fits your feet. If you have big feet get a big board/wide board.
