my son is 6'2 and wears 32x34 - should I get medium or large? I think the medium will be too short in length and large to big in the waist.

Hi Bellabaur, I think your son will be happier with size large. It's better to have snow pants be a little too loose than a little too tight. The larges will have more freedom of movement, and he'll be able to wear layers if necessary. Also, these pants have belt loops and adjustable Velcro waist cinches to customize fit. Go with the larges and he will be happy.
