It will get discolored if you are rubbing it up against dirty things and not careful however it looks super super sick on and if you take care of it you should be fine.

I'm pretty careful with my stuff, but it definitely got discolored! I wear a lot of blue jeans, and it started to turn a hue of blue! Also, trying to clean it doesn't work. White looks super sick, but be prepared to buy a new one once it becomes discolored.
