How are these shoes on the back on the ankles? I like vans but where the shoe hits on the back of my ankle, it rubs the skin off and I had to stop wearing them.
The key is to stomp down the heels so that they're just slip-ons. If you don't want slip ons, don't worry, the back of the shoe isn't very stiff. I've worn (the guy's version) for 10 miles at a time, and they're fine. The only problem... If you wear them without socks, your feet can get mad sweaty, kinda gnar.
I sometimes wear mine without socks, and the heel is way less abrasive than Vans. I prefer to wear them with socks though, it makes them a little more cushy and my feet won't sweat.
