I'm not sure what the difference is between the 09/10 sack and this one unless this is the 10/11. If so is this one padded at all? I'm goign to be flying soon and am wondering if this would hold up well on a flight. Thanks.

The bag is not padded, I would not check this bag unless you want to wrap your board up in bubble wrap. This is perfect for trips to and from your local mountain. For traveling check out the wheelie gig bag. This is padded and great for traveling.
