I'm a borderline beginner/intermediate rider thats looking to buy a first board and I've narrowed it down to this board and three others. The other three are, a K2 Brigade, Burton Custom V Rocker and a Burton Joystick. I basically do a lot of carving and go down groomed green, blue and sometimes black diamond slopes. I might get into a bit of rails but park isn't for me. Which board will be best for me if I'm 6'3, 210 pounds and about a 12.5 boot size? Thanks in advance.
And if there is any other board you want to recommend feel free to do so.
I would recommend the Burton Fix, from first hand experience, its a stable board. Good for rails. I started out on one.
Get a 159' board length, And the boots... get a set of large bindings.
Look, I would have agreed with Fred, except, if your like me and aren't exactly in close contact with the snowboard world, then any burton is not for you. The burton boards necessitate Burton Bindings, which while not horrible, can be a pain if they break and no one in the area has the proper replacement items or affordable Burton options. I would recommend the brigade. I just like K2. But if you are just looking for an all-around board, check out forum, nitro, or neversummer.
