I'm looking for a new snowboard to progress...

Posted on

I'm looking for a new snowboard to progress in park/jibbing. My current snowboard is a 151 with a flex rating of 7, and I feel like it's pretty difficult for me to flex, butter and whatnot. Awesome for bombing, carving, steeps, ice, pow, etc. but not great for much else. I'm wondering if this board would be good for me to work on more park/jib stuff but still be able to take it out and ride the mountain, get into some pow, have fun everywhere....or is too park specific for that? Basically, I'm looking for a softer, more flexible board that will still be pretty poppy and that I can have fun with everywhere while saving my other board for pow days/off piste excursions. I'm a woman, 5'4", 135 pounds, been riding for about 10 years, but just really getting into jibbing, buttering, getting my 180s solid and hopefully going further. Would the Forum Craft be good for me or what else should I be looking at?

This board will be good for you. Awesome park board. I would decide between this and the Spinster. Both are great boards for the park. They will flex a lot better than the board you have now. Perfect for buttering, pressing and learning spins. Have fun.
