To anyone who has these (any year).. how many days of riding did they take to break in? I'm assuming they take longer than normal boots due to their stiffness.

I ride Salomon boots exclusively over the years and even for the stiffness, the malamute had minimal breakin... all Salomon boots have minimal break in... these have no more/less then any other Salomon boot. Actually the only thing to really break in is where the laces lay and any molding to your foot... After a day or two of riding and retightening the laces (internal/external), the laces should lay flat, tight, and will eventually form to the boot... you could speed this up with a heat mold from your local store, do NOT use your oven...
