Hey Evan - the Gigi Puf TDS Down jacket has more tech than the Kippis. The Gigi TDS has 15k waterproofing with 15gm breathability and the Kippis has 10/10. This means the Gigi will be more waterproof, more windproof, and more breathable than the Kippis.

Also the Gigi has TDS (targeted insulation) which is down insulation where you need it, and none where you don't like under your arms.

Finally Volcom has Zip Tech so you can zip your volcom jacket and pants together to create a snowproof seal.
