The 157cm is 258mm at the waist and this is not a wide board. If you want a longer board great but, this is a hybrid board which delivers more with less length. If you're looking for a new board maybe stick with a 154. Below is a link to lib tech's tech page for this board.

I was use to riding a super soft 150 then switched up to the T Rice 157. Im just a little bigger than you are and i find the 157 to be slightly to big if u want to use it as an all mountain board where ur doing tree riding, park. For groomers and pow the 157 does fine, just seems a little big.
