I would say that the Artifact is a tad softer but doesnt lose any pop due to the popcore matrix. The PBJ is a sick stick aswell. But im just partial to Rome as I ride one aswell. I just think Rome puts a lot into their boards and you're not just paying for a name. Like I said tho, the PBJ is a sick deck tho. Has lots of pop, good flex, and pretty much deals with everything you throw at it. My buddys PBJ snapped on him 3 weeks into riding from droppin out a 15ft shoot. So I dunno if he just caught it weird or at the right spot, but its gone lol. DC makes great product, I just buy more of their clothing rather than their decks, but thats just me. But I would def say get the Artifact as i've demoed both

there both in the same ballpark as lower pricerange soft cambered park decks. ive ridden both, and i agree with the guy above me completely except one thing. the dc pbj has one of the fastest and most durable bases in the snowboard market. they are putting insane bases onto all their boards that are usually only found in +$800 boards. so id say if your good at tuning, waxing, and filling cracks and scrapes, go with the rome 100%. if your new to tuning and that stuff, the dc is a safer bet as far as a reliable board goes. plus dc honors their warranty insanely good.
