I have never been so dry in my life, I spend a lot of time buried in powder and have been warm and dry every time. You can literally pour beer on your leg and it just beads up runs off. The only things missing are the nylon cuffs you stick your hands through in the sleeve to keep the snow out, and a place to put a lift pass without it dangling off a zipper like the two plankers.
