Not up to Burton standards

Bought the gloves for my son for added protection after having his tendons sliced open in a snowboarding accident. He wore them 4 times and the gloves started to tear and the support bars in the top of the gloves came through the material. He said they were not warm nor did they keep his hands dry. I returned them and got another pair not having read some of these reviews. We will see if the 2nd pair turns out the same.
