I bought this for a rain jacket and it holds up really well...the water just beads off of it. It more or less fits true to size...it's kinda long in the back which can make it look awkward wearing with jeans, but the sleeves are a good length. Just remember it is a side zip and I frequently have to bend over and pull it off like a sweatshirt..there is no lady-like way to take it off. I even have slid it off by my feet.
