these boots fit true to size. For example, everyone has a pair of cons All-stars yea? Well I like 10.5s in those but I'm probably truly 11s and I get those when I can't get any 10.5s These 10.5 Nitros are tight on my toes. I took the inner sole out of the liner and rode like that for 2 days then put it back in. They are gonna be fine and I like it that way and can put up with the initial jam to get that boot fit I love. But unless you like the super-tight toe squash, there is probably no need to drop that half-size here. Great support, good details and the right amount of flex. Great Freeride boot and TLS system is easy enough to get tight. I heard a couple scary sounds but no breaks. Might get a spare lace just in case cos it's a little daunting pulling from the same spot each time... Can't compare them to anything really cos my last boots survived 8years so of course these feel like a Rolls Royce.
