in february of 2009, with my tax return, hahaha, i bought this board. this last season was my first ever snowboarding, and let me tell you, after super sore legs and feet and everything else, i was done renting the cheap crap. the first day i rode this board, it was a trillion times easier to carve, and i felt like i began to improve a lot quicker. it is certainly nice to have a light weight board, since i am 5'2'' and weigh 95lbs. i got a 140cm, and i was so so impressed. this is a great first board, if you're a beginner and you plan to continue boarding because it will help you learn quickly and most importantly, gain the confidence you need to stick with it! plus, the board is beautiful. you cannot go wrong with this thing.
