A classic still going strong

By Ranked #8 - Goggles October 20, 2009

The A-frame is durable, easy to use, great looking and with superior optics.

I got my first pair back in 98 or so and I still rock them on occasion. I got a couple of more now and they all have hold op amazingly well. The rubber band is still tight and the lenses have withstand travel to the alps, the norther pars of Norway, countless after skis and more.

The only real downside with the A-frame is it's constraints on the peripheral vision. The frame is a bit narrow and has a lot of bulk so when skiing switch or looking over your shoulder you might have problems. When snowboarding it's however never caused mentionable problems for me.

Bottom line: Durable with superior optics. Limits your peripheral vision.
