These are probably great for burton boards. But if your board has 4 hole binding mounts, you have to use the non-padded puck. The padding is only on the 3 hole (burton triangle pattern) mount. That was kind of a nasty surprise after reading such good reviews.
Also, the toe strap didn't really "cup" the front of the boot like the lexa/mission ones do.
it's weird, i see such good reviews of these on lots of sites, but they weren't right for a lib tech board and non-burton boots.
i just got these bindings and both the 3 hole and 4 hole baseplates dont have padding..the whole padding lifts up and you put the baseplate underneath..so really there is no difference
i use these bindings on my lib tech skate banana 151 narrow board and they are perfect. Like the other user had mentioned there is absolutely no difference in the the way the bindings function or the way the boot fits. Try adjusting your toe cap to make the strap more centered on your boot, also this binding has an open toe cap which means that you can wear the binding over your toe like a regular strap, or as a toe cap. it is not a big deal that the 4 hole baseplate does not have cushioning, you still get the toe and heal cushioning on the binding. I have a libtech board and have used non burton boots in these bindings. I so have burton boots, but non burton boots work just fine as well. just look at the sizing chart when purchasing bindings so you get the ones to fit your boot size.
