the board has horrible grip with the average groomed park snow, i went from a burton clash to this n rite back to my clash. it isnt as good as most people make it sound. definatly cant use it in the powder very well and its extremely slow

agreed. this is truly a sick stick. ridden the regular banana, darkstar, solomon grip, and capita horroscope, this trumps them all POW and PARK

Dude, you're putting down the Lib Tech with BT and MTX, but you're hyping the Burton Clash. Really? The Clash is a beginner board, you know that, right? The part where you lose all credibility is saying it's no good in powder. The reverse cam is perfect for pow.

if you think a board with mah=gne traction has bad grip then you are doing something wrong. ive gone up with my skate banana when there was only ice(there was freezing rain the night before) and my board carved right through the ice. my friend that had a normal board could barely stay on his feet and i barely felt the ice

i've been riding magne since it was released. now, on BTX (danny kass), and dude, with finely-tuned magne edges you can indeed carve on ice (i'm from the ice coast). with de-tuned edges you can carve anything besides ice. so carving groomed runs is nothing for any magne board. i'm not sure what/where you're riding but i don't believe that trash for a minute. give it another chance - you'll be a believer.

you can't expect a park board to be great other places on the mountain, magnatraction gives you amazing edgehold definitely better than anything burton
