They are fully adjustable with secondary straps around your waistline so that you don't need a belt but you can still dial in a perfect fit. My ass has NEVER been wet and the gaiters on these ankles keep the pant legs down. The fit isn't to baggy at all. I don't even use the liner anymore because I stay warm even in sub 20 temps.
