I ordered this coat for my almost 13 yr. old daughter as a gift. She chose the Plumeria color, and it is beautiful. The coat's material reminds me of Neoprene, since it's fairly stretchy. The fur on the hood is soft and fluffy, without being huge and poufy. Her favorite feature is the cuffs that pull down over her wrists, and go over the thumbs( I like the fact that they stay inside her gloves while she's out sledding! ) The price was a little more than I initially wanted to pay, but I'm glad I did since the coat will definitely last for at least the next 2-3 years. If you order the next size up for your growing teenager, you won't be disappointed as the fit is a little snug. Overall, I'm completely happy with the quality of this coat.
