I bought these in black and coral. The black ones are cute, but the coral ones are practically NEON. They are super bright so be prepared if you are not a fan of neon. I will be keeping the black pair, as they are super comfortable.Coverage is minimal (these are short-shorts) and the wide waistband -- although super comfortable -- may not hold up in the waves. These shorts may be better suited for wearing to the beach then actually swimming in (if that was your plan for them). I'm keeping the black ones because they are comfortable and will be good for kayaking and beach-going. However, I will be buying something else for surfing! Oh, and I typically wear a size 6 in pants, and bought these in a 7. They fit well but are not baggy. I wouldn't go larger though because the waistband would be too loose.
