Burton Gore-Tex Glove - Kids'

Good Gloves, Not as Many Features As Adult Version

By Ranked #731 - Gloves April 13, 2010

These are insulated gore-tex gloves. Insulated enough to be warm, not so much as to be difficult to manipulate. They run pretty true to size. The gore-tex outer makes them pretty water resistant. The thumbs have fleece patches on the outer face for soft goggle/face/nose wiping. They also have wrist keepers, which are very handy. And yes, they also have clasp to keep them together when not keeping your kid's hands toasty. A solid basic glove for cold/stormy days.

They are not, however, a kid-version of the Adult Burton Gore-Tex Gloves. They do not come with separate liners that have sticky patches. They do not have zip pockets in the back of each hand for warmer packs or small extras. Some shops sell the kids' less-feature-laden version for close to the adult glove price - fortunately, DogFunk is not one of them!

These gloves seem to be well made and my son loved the look of them. Unfortunately, there was a fit problem (the pinky finger of the right glove was too narrow and short). I am hopeful that it was just a manufacturing error with this particular pair, but they do not fit so we are sending them back.
