Bring on winter

By Ranked #2033 - Men's Jackets June 13, 2010

My last volcom jacket has seen me through a couple of seasons and a shed load of travelling around. It's still going strong but I wanted a more techy jacket in a louder colour than black. I also want a jacket to zip to my burton AK pants which Volcom does although I think Burton might be changing their designs for the 2011 season? This new jacket arrived yesterday and while it's the wrong time of year for shredding any sort of snow, I wore it to an outdoor world cup match last night and was toasty as.

The colours (blue one) are slightly lighter than shown in the dogfunk pics which seem to have a lot of shadow on them. Face mask seems to be an effective and clever design, and the XL size is nice and baggy (I'm 6ft3 and 90 kg).

Sorry folks if that's not a totally helpful review but I've had plenty of jackets in my 12 years of riding and this is a top one. I'm taking it to British Columbia, AK and Chamonix in the next couple of years so we'll see how it holds up but from my previous experience with Volcom, I shouldn't have any probs.

Overall, stylish, comfortable, functional and breathable.
