It does say it is "performance". nowhere does it say "lightweight" or anything like that. In the tech specs it says its 100% poly mesh, obviously not a lightweight material.... besides the point.... It is super breathable (not perforated) and is a perfect base layer stacked with a smarty jacket or something like that. I rock this tank almost every day during the summer.
