Powder Skirt = Not removable, at all

Simple mistake, whateverbut seriously the skirt on this jacket is a real bummer, it's way too fitted even when open so it sucks the lower midsection in. I've had a similar problem on an old Oakley jacket but this is a little more severe. I cut the skirt out with scissors and it helped so much, now it fits nice and relaxed, lays flat and doesn't interfere with layers underneath........I hate non removable skirts

Ugh! Reverse steeze :P No seriously though, I hate when the tech specs are wrong. You are right though...simple mistake. Still a bummer. I picked up last years model of the foursquare adams jacket, with same tech spec about removable powder skirt. Not removable. Worse still, someone reviewed it and said that it was. Super weaksauce!
